Original caption: The hole in the Bonwit Teller store at Fifth Avenue and 56th Street, was caused by Salvador Dali, officials of the store say. The 35-year-old Catalonian leader of the surrealist school of art allegedly let his temperament get the best of him when displays in the window designed by him were changed without his permission. He is said to have crashed through the window while venting his rage on the changed display. He was booked on a charge of malicious mischief.
